Meet Your Charleston Boat Tour Captain
Love of the Charleston Waterways
My love of the water was forged early in my life growing up in Central New York State where I spent as much time as possible on the numerous lakes. I have many siblings, and we explored the outdoors every chance we could.
Later, I graduated from Providence College and established my business career in Sales. I progressed to top sales management positions selling home goods, furniture and lighting. I have always enjoyed meeting new friends and the time spent sharing our life experiences.
Our many family and friends visit my wife and I regularly in Mount Pleasant, where we live. After boating in the Charleston area for over 18 years entertaining them, I realize how much I enjoy sharing the many water venues we have with others. Being on the water learning what our many waterways mean to us both historically and ecologically today is ever changing and truly fascinating. I enjoy kids, having grandchildren of my own, and love to teach them about the exciting marine life in our area.
So I decided to complete the necessary courses and received my Captain's license and CPR training certification so I could share my low country experiences with others.
Rivers, creeks, marshes, harbor and ocean…they are all here to be explored! Dolphins, Egrets, Pelicans and even Shrimp are normal companions on any given day on the Charleston waterways. You probably will also get to see one of my most favorite birds, the American Oyster catcher.
